Mandalay on the pitch: Myint Myint Khin × Yadanarbon FC

A special note this month. Myint Myint Khin — the Mandalay sweets house behind the heritage box on our Season prize wall — has been named an Official Partner of Yadanarbon FC for the 2026–2027 season. Here is the club’s announcement in full.

Yadanarbon Football Club is proud and delighted to announce that, for the coming 2026–2027 football season, we have joined hands as Official Partners with “Myint Myint Khin” — the largest and most distinguished name among Mandalay’s traditional htoe mont houses.

Founded in 1912 by U Thant and Daw Chit Chit, the “Myint Myint Khin” htoe mont business is a historic and celebrated brand that has kept the traditional craft and flavour of Mandalay intact for more than 110 years. It is also one of Myanmar’s leading traditional food producers, making and distributing at the finest quality the renowned htoe mont and la mont that every visitor to Mandalay must buy.

A partnership such as this — between Yadanarbon Football Club, which principally represents Mandalay, and “Myint Myint Khin”, itself a symbol of the city — is the finest expression of the unity of Mandalay’s people and of the firm connection between the brands that carry the pride of the region.

Yadanarbon Football Club places on record its special gratitude and honours the “Myint Myint Khin” family, who, with full confidence in the club, have come forward from the position of official partner to support and strengthen us in the season ahead.
